Apparently you've stumbled across 2acrossmusic.com - the online home of Mike Ziemski, Bassist (6 string fretted and fretless) and Jazz Guitarist (although the gig that pays the bills is as an Institutional Advancement Professional). This is where you can find connections and contacts for my musical activites and other major projects, like the following Web sites:
SchoolAdvancement.com is a project to link marketing and development professionals from Catholic schools to share ideas, success stories and challenges in the hopes of moving Catholic School educational programs forward from a support perspective.
INSTRUMEDIATECH.com is Instructional Media Technology. I hold an Instructional Technology Specialist certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and can provide services to train teachers to utilize technology in the classroom. I have designed and developed instructional Web sites in order to foster distance learning options and deliver curriculum via the Internet.
HighSchoolBandParents.com Parent booster organizations are tiring of fundraising, especially when more and more organizations are expecting parents to spend their time and talent when they can't spend their treasure on what it costs to the support the programs their children participate in. Why focus on High School Band Parents? I don't see any boys' football or girls' basketball programs being cut in our school districts due to other district needs - do you?
As for music, please feel free to contact me if you're in need of a fill-in player at 2acrossmusic@gmail.com, or complete the form on the "Contact Me" page. Because of my extensive travel schedule, I do not schedule weekly lessons anymore, but am still available for one-off fill-in gigs and potential week-long musicals. Because I've been offered gigs, made arrangements to play, and then receive a call saying, "Oh, turns out someone else is going to do it, but thanks anyway," a $50 non-refundable deposit will be required to reserve any fill-in gig requests. Your understanding is appreciated.
